Established through a partnership between a frustrated skincare user and a British Scientist, 47 Skin is an innovative skin care brand that prides itself on products that actually make a difference. Using unique ingredients backed by science, they deliver market leading products, all while promoting sustainability.
Even though this refreshing, UK based brand is still in its infancy, it has already made major strides, with a dedicated worldwide customer-base. Where they needed help was in revamping the existing website through an improved user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
Design
The key goal for Owner, Nic, was to ensure that the website truly showcased their unique products through a seamless browsing experience. To achieve this, they requested implementation of the following key elements:
- An enhanced Homepage layout with strategic, engaging content
- Addition of new site pages to facilitate website navigation
- Deployment of a streamlined cart and checkout process for a frictionless user experience
- Improved mobile usability and responsiveness for seamless on-the-go use
- Provision of ongoing site maintenance


Our Approach
47 Skin opted for our monthly retainer package, in which they had full access to our developers as and when they needed. We worked collaboratively with Nic to create a functional, accessible and attractive website.
Through our redesign, we effectively streamlined the shopping process, driving conversions through clear, intuitive navigation. The improved website architecture makes it easy for customers to find the products they need, effectively decreasing the bounce rate. Integration of a new Zipify upsell feature delivered a boost in conversion rates through relevant, one-click purchases. Finally, we catered to their mobile device traffic through user-friendly integration and responsive design.
